Only an idiot or someone that can't afford a ps3 would choose the 360 version. This game will be a good indicator of how many people with 360's don't have ps3s.

And it really is sad when they have twice as many people with consoles in the US and yet they don't double sales. Look at modern warfare, the first month it doubled the ps3 but since then the numbers have been a lot closer.
I bet more 360 fans are into leona lewis so FFXIII will probably appeal more to 360 owners based on the commercial.
That is all probably ps3 footage. If Square is too embarrassed by the 360 version to release still shots then the moving footage must be pretty bad as well.
Halo 3 is the only sub hd game this gen. Go check out amazon. Heavy Rain is #1 followed by FFXIII (PS3 version) then at #29 is the 360 version.
The should have a subtitle in the commercial that says "PS3 footage shown" because more than likely it is the PS3 footage up there.
